Userjar is a product owned by Altitude Labs, designed for online usability and design preference testing. It was created in response to the suspension of face-to-face usability testing due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Altitude Labs specialized in leading product discovery, UX audits, and design iteration projects for companies. However, the pandemic heavily impacted our work. Every challenge we face is an opportunity for growth. Seeing that, our company CEO organized an internal design sprint with designers, developers, and our engineering lead to explore the needs of target customers, their problems, possible solutions, and how to test and deliver a product.
We designed key pages and created a prototype to test with our existing clients. The feedback was positive, as our clients found some existing testing platforms challenging and requiring some learning for usage. They expressed a desire for something as simple as a Google form, but capable of guiding them to collect user feedback using the right question types and methodology.
In response, we developed a user testing tool for our clients with a dashboard that provides guidance and relevant examples to make the question creation process intuitive and engaging. This allows even user testing beginners to create quizzes to gather feedback from their target audience.
